Lucy got her tonsils out one week ago today and she seems to be doing fine. Her throat is still a little sore but she is ready to get out of the house and run around. Hopefully we will have a fun weekend. We are going to a birthday party Saturday and to see a stage play of "The Wizard of Oz" on Sunday.
Here is something I found the other day that really cracked me up.

Both of my kidlings are tonsil-free. It was harder on the girl as she was four, while we just did pre-emptive surgery on the boy at 16 months. Because he was nursing, he had no problems. Best to Lucy. Hope she's eating lots of popsicles.
