About six weeks ago, the idea of putting audio files on the newspaper's Web site was fantasy.
Finally, I want to Radio Shack (of all places), bought a digital voice recorder and we were off and running.
For the first six weeks it was all me. But this weekend I finally got a reporter to collect some wave files. I still do all the editing but we are off and running.
Check them out on the Marion Star Web page

Cool audio! The choir sounds good. And I just did a big cover story in WNC Health on Relay for Life. Good stuff.
I've finally figured out how to add audio to my web site. I'm gonig to buy a microphone today to start some podcasting.
I THOUGHT THAT THE RADIO SHACK WAS ONLY GOOD FOR OVERPRICING AND A LOT OF BALONEY ABOUT ITS PRODUCTS, I AM PLEASED THAT SOMETHING GOOD CAME OUT OF ITS RACKS AND RACKS OF OVERPRICED ACOUTERMENTS.
I usually agree -- but I am in a small town I had no choice and I got lucky
