This much snow would have emptied the shelves at Ingles for months. There would have been a bread, milk and toilet paper shortage in WNC that would have ramifications for generations. It pretty much shut things down for a day or so here and then things return to normal. It is important to avoid watching TV. The weather mongers there try to scare the pants off everyone.
