The birth of my awareness

I was driving back from a Village of Chateaugay board meeting one
September night in 1991. I was listening to the Canadian Broadcasting
System on the radio. I believe the name of the show was, "The Radio
Show." It was mostly talk but they played a couple of songs at the end.
That night I heard for the first time, "If I had a $1,000,000" by the
Bare Naked Ladies. What a moment to remember.

is it memorable because it is, with exception of your 12 cancer diagnoses, it was the most depressing moment of your young life? not unlike me, lying on the cheap rug in my utica bedroom, reading judy blume books while playing "the best of the carpenters" on vinyl? was it like that?? huh?? huh??
