Sadly, but expectedly, Dan the Robot stopped functioning three days after being brought to the Graser household.
It was an "accident."
Turns out if you wind him real tight his clockwork goes Kablooie and he can only work for a few seconds before falling over. Kind of like daddy. If only Dan had some change to jingle.
