I can remember when I was a kid I used to sit only millimeters from the tv at every evening. Why? My parents shouldn't hear any sound when I was watching some crime movies. :)

We used to watch movies on French Canadian TV that had occasional nudity. Had to sit real close with a very firm hand on the dial.
