We had a caller at the newspaper the other day who couldn't for the life of her figure out what MLK stood for and didn't understand why the schools were closed.

uh. um. i really don't know what to think about this except that, THAT'S YOUR READERSHIP and you need to reflect it, perhaps by renaming the newspaper in honor of them. The Dumb Ass Star? Ignorant Bigot Express? Jackass Daily? hmmm. let me think on it while i take a call from someone who called our newsroom to find out--wait for it -- what time it was. brilliant.
i'm planning ahead - can anybody tell me what time midnight mass is?
