Sometimes it's hard to remember how smart she is and how much we love her when she decides it would be a good idea to wash the TV.

Time for photos
Christmas was extended for us. We spent a quiet one with just the three of us and then the weekend after New Year, Mary's folks paid a week-long visit and we treated that just like Christmas - even though we kicked the tree to the curb on Dec. 27.
Here is the tree:
You can see all the snow out the window. I am pretty sure much of it was gone by the big day, but we had fun building snowmen and snowforts and, strangly, I enjoyed shoveling our huge driveway.
Sandy wore a sweater to match my Owen Warhorses t-shirt and we drank mimosas.
Not sure what's up with my hair.
Lucy got some pajamas that she just loves.
Lucy also played a lot of "school" with her grandpa
